I have seen a few things that I thought were worth passing on to you as I travel around the web.

First where (and where not to) shop: Best and worst bookstores. The article deals with Britain, but comments mention a few other places.

Travel books for gifts Suggested by bookstores Distant Lands in Pasadena; Globe Corner in Cambridge MA; and Idlewild Books in NYC.

How much would you pay for a travel book–say, $758,000?

And if that last one is a bit out of your range, Budget Travel at About.com suggests books for the budget traveler.

A gift of humor.  This hilarious send up of all kinds of travel literature from the UK Guardian, may make you wonder why I’m writing this blog and why you are reading it.

I was at the Globe Corner Bookstore last week. have to say I miss their old location on the corner above Veggie Planet, but glad to see they are still going strong in the new place, which probably brings in a lot more walk in traffic.
