Contest Rules

The January Giveaway consists of one prize (books, or DVDs of varying value, and book/movie related prizes) given with each post from January 2 through January 30, 2012 and one Grand Prize to be announced later.

There are four ways to enter. Only one prize per “daily” winner, except that everyone who enters during the month including winners are included in the drawing for the Grand Prize.

Four ways to win a book, or other daily prize

A different prize will be given for each new post during the contest period, and one person can win only one prize. In the event a prize winner does not respond within 48 hours to notification of winning, then the prize will be awarded to the next person whose name is drawn from that period’s commenters. The time period will vary depending on how long between posts (24-72 hours), but will be specified at the top of each new post for that specific period.

1. A Comment. One person’s name can be entered by posting a comment on a blog post each day of the contest period by the deadline given in that post. Only one entry per post will count, however a person can enter several times by commenting on different posts (The comment must be made during the giveaway period, but the post can be from  an earlier date).
2. A Tweet (using @pen4hire in the message) within the giveaway period will count as one entry.
3. A new e-mail subscription to A Traveler’s Library will count as one entry. (Present e-mail subscribers will be entered ONLY IF they request that they be entered via a comment.)
4. A comment on Google + will count as one entry.

THE LEGAL STUFF

No purchase necessary to enter.

Void where prohibited by law.

You must be a US resident, 21 or older to participate.

Employees, partners, agents, vendors, or immediate family members of A Traveler’s Library are not eligible to enter.

This is a random drawing, so odds of winning will depend on number of entrants. Rules are governed by the state of Arizona. A Traveler’s Library reserve the right to cancel, suspend, and or modify a promotion if any problem corrupts the administration, security or proper play of the promotion. In the event of a dispute as to the winner’s identity, entries will be deemed made by the holder of the email account associated with the entry.

Entrants agree that the owner of A Traveler’s Library is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any unauthorized intervention, technical errors, printing errors, mail delays and any other errors in connection with the administration with this program.

A Traveler’s Library reserves the right to announce names of winners.

Our Promise to you: A Traveler’s Library will not sell, trade or give to any other party the e-mail names and addresses gathered in the contest. ONLY winners should submit mailing addresses, upon request.
