In honor of this coming weekend’s Tucson Festival of Books, a first annual event featuring 300 authors and heaven knows what all, I went to Tucson’s bookworm heaven, Bookman’s the gigantic local used book store. I took the list of books I have been compiling and found almost none of them–but managed to buy six books anyway. Usually I try to take some used books in to trade, but I will admit that the new six books and other recent acquistions are just piling ever higher.
I am so happy that one of the panels at the Festival addresses “Place and Voice in Writing: Inspired by Locale.” And Tom Miller and Rolf Potts will be here to talk about Travel Writing. It will be a wonderful weekend.
If you are keeping track, the TBR page has been updated.
See you tomorrow.
