Sleigh BellsHappy Holidays from All Around the World

Each year as I travel, I try to take a few photos that might make iconic Christmas card covers. Sometimes they are obvious, sometimes not so. Here are a few from the past travel years that have appeared on my Christmas cards. You can click on a photo to enlarge it.

This has been part of Travel Photo Thursday. To see more photos from around the world, go to Budget Travelers’ Sandbox. (This is also my first experiment with the WordPress Photo Gallery. What do you think? I wish I could control the size of captions.)

  1. This is a lovely collection of scenic shots. What a great idea for Christmas cards. I love the Greece shots! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    1. Hi Sophie: Ironic, isn’t it that one of my favorite photos in this travel series turns out to be just down the block from my house? Merry Christmas to you and stay warm. Keep lots of lights on to fight off the Winter blues, too!

  2. Merry Christmas to you and Ken! Hope the coming year is filled with wonderful new adventures for you two. And thanks for keeping me with a stack of book recommendations throughout the year!

    1. Thanks, Jackie. I imagine you’ll be traveling more than we will in the coming year, but I’ll try to keep the books coming. And thanks right back for the suggestions you leave to make my to be read pile grow.
