Happy Thanksgiving    I realize this is an American thing..and you may not be celebrating as we are–but Happy Day, anyhow. What are you thankful for this year? Of course, I am always grateful for TRAVEL. Although much of my travel has been close to home, I’ve explored some scenic and interesting corners of America. After being sidelined by some back problems in the early months of the year, things warmed up. Here’s a quiet Thanks for the opportunities I have had. Just before we left for our weekend road trip to northern Arizona’s White Mountains (see Travels With Bogie) I read Leigh McAdam’s Hike Bike Travel article on landscape photography. Travels with Bogie #BTC4A

Last weekend, we celebrated Bogie’s Fourth Birthday with his first road trip.

Actually, we don’t know for sure that this was Bogie’s first road trip–just his first extended road trip with US. Let me introduce Bogie, named for another star who had big brown eyes who attracted the dames.  Bogie is a Yorkshire Terrier-Poodle mix who we found at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona last July.  His prior owners had taken good care of him because he is very healthy.  He is people friendly and well behaved.
